Update: Kaya was adopted.  I think it is working out!

Update March 26th  Kaya was brought back to the shelter.  She wasn't getting the exercise she needed in a home with a tiny backyard, a working family and a 1 year old baby.  She is high energy and would LOVE to be a sprint or skijor dog.

Update March.  Kaya has been adopted!

January 29, 2010  We ran Kaya in a 10 dog team.  This petite girl is CRAZY.  She LOVES to run and pull.....but she wants to run all out and not stop...she chewed 2 necklines and is a wild jumping girl when stopped....over and under the dog beside her....pull on the line...chew the neckline... bang the harness.  Wow, what energy!!  She is young and small and would add good speed to a faster team.  She loves people and has a great personality.  She was found running in the Salcha area for 2 weeks and was terribly thin.  She is looking pretty good now.
